Wilson Statement from One Bills Drive

In a dramatic midweek decision Bills owner Ralph Wilson has relieved head coach Dick Jauron of his coaching duties.

“I am announcing today that I am relieving Dick Jauron from his duties as our head coach, effectively immediately,” said Wilson in a team statement. “I have tremendous respect for Dick and thank him for all of his efforts during these past four years. While this was a very difficult decision, I felt that it is one that needed to be made at this time for the best interest of our team. We will now focus on moving forward and preparing for our game this week in Jacksonville.”

Mind of Joe
In an earlier statement to BTN, Wilson mentioned that this was one of his hardest decisions he has ever made because Jauron was such a nice guy. Really? It was that hard to fire a guy who was 10 games under .500 in three plus years? So for any future employees for the Buffalo Bills, all you have to do is kiss Ralph’s ass to keep your job.
