Some random facts:

1) When the season kickoffs, the Bills will only have four players (If Kolb is on the team) on the roster that are over 30 years of age (Pennington, Foote, Chambers, Lindell and Moorman).
2) The Bills drafted 14 players: 6 defensive and 8 offensive players.
3) I’ve made a total of 8 trades, along with jettisoning a total of 16 players off the Bills roster from last year.
4) With the draft and free agency, I’ve added 19 players to the active roster.

All and all, I think I did a pretty decent job in really steering this team in the right direction. This team had to be blown up. Yes, there aren’t a lot of big names to sell tickets, but I don’t exactly care if you’re coming to the games or not. I’m here to develop a championship team, not a profit.

I think the biggest accomplishment I made was adding depth and youth to both the offensive and defensive lines. The Bills may not have a legit number one receiver, but I think the addition of Chris Chambers, Golden Tate and Ben Watson will prove my notion that you can win in this league by spreading the ball around (Just ask the Saints offense). My biggest question marks are going to be outside linebacker and quarterback.

Looking back, the Kevin Kolb deal could be my biggest regret. Mainly, because I wouldn’t be able to add as much depth as I did in the draft. But, I do feel he’s a better quarterback today than Pennington and LeFevour. I also probably should have resigned Ashton Youboty, as I didn’t have enough picks to get the Bills a 5th corner in the draft. More than likely, I’ll just add an undrafted free agent. Same goes with adding depth at inside linebacker. Obviously, I’ll be bringing in some street free agents to cut during training camp.

So that’s your 2010 Buffalo Bills football team. Do you think I did a good job? What do you think their record will be? Did I miss anything? Do I suck?
